Best deal ever!

I think this is an amazing deal! It’s the ULTA 5-in-1 color collection! It comes with an adorable envelope styled case, 3 double ended eye liner pencils, 2 mini lip-glosses, and 5 make-up palettes which include 10 eyeshadows and 1 coordinating cheek shade, all for $19.99! The sets come in two colors: Everyday Chic and Downtown Diva. Everyday Chic includes more natural, light colors while Downtown Diva has brighter, richer shades. I own Every day chic and must say that I love it! You should definitely take advantage of this deal before it ends. Also, if you have a local ULTA store be sure to go to their website and check out their latest add once in a while, they always have great sales. Even if you don’t have one near you, it wouldn’t hurt to look at it either. After all, you can always order online!

Matte lips

While visting my local ULTA store, I discovered this amazing new lip product by NYX called Soft Matte Lip Cream. I was pretty curious about what matte lips might look like, so I bought it and tried it on as soon as I got home. Turns out shine free lips look pretty good! I actually really like it. The texture is just like normal gloss, but it has absolutely no shine. It looks like the color you have on is completely natural! Although, make sure you exfoliate or add lip balm before and after you use it; if you don’t it makes your lips look dry. It also dries them out a little after use too. Anyway, it’s also really inexpesive(around $5.00), so you can afford to be curious and try it!

Until next time…

My Favorites!

I thought that it might be fun to show you some of my favorite cosmetic items that I use or want. So here we go…

My favorite lip gloss by far is by Bare Essentuals. It gives a pop of shiny color without the heavy look of lipstick. This one is somewhat out dated, but I think they still make it, along with other types. The Pretty Amazing kind is more updated and is really awesome too.

As far as really defined color goes I love the Chubby Stick by Clinique!  You can put it on so it looks like a light layer of chap stick, or make it look like a really heavy application of lipstick. It comes in a variety of shades, the one in the picture is Mega Melon. I also like Super Strawberry.

For eye color I use Clinique’s Lid Smoothie. It lasts a really long time, but comes off easily with a wet cloth. I really like the purple shade because it matches my eye color, but it comes in lots of other colors.

For perfume my favorite is definitely Harajuku Lovers. They have all sorts of scents and girls. Personally, I think they are really cute! I want all of them but, the one I own right now is Love.

The only type of foundation I will ever use is Bare Minerals. If you remember, my second post was about this! I love it because it looks natural unless you use a lot of it, and actually evens out your skin tone after you use it for a while.

So… for all of you snoopy people, that is pretty much a view of the cosmetic section of my bathroom!

Fall Colors

I love painting my nails just like very other girl! Since it’s nearing the season for fall colors I thought I might tell you about some of my favorite colors for a fall day. One of my ultimate necessary color for any fall event are plum shades. They’re not to bright but not too dull either! Just like fall!

Winged out!

All of sudden I started seeing all of these models winging their eye color out to the side of their eyes. I think it looks pretty cool! Apparently it was popular in the 60’s as well, my mom used to wear her makeup that way! There are a couple different types of eyeliners you can use; gel, marker, and brush. You can get all this stuff at your local Sephora or cosmetic store. Now you have to put it on! First you put eyeliner on as normal. Then when you reach the end of your eye stop and position your brush in the corner. Next swoop up creating a lightly curved line. Make a line from your eye to the line you just drew. Finally fill the gap in and you have beautiful winged eyeliner! Next you have to do the other eye. Follow the same steps I just told you paying careful attention to the angle you did your last eye at and try to make this eye’s as close as a match as you can. At last you have beautiful winged eyeliner! If you want you can now add color! Fiddle around with it until you get it exactly the way you want it.

Cosmetics from Nature

Make-up that’s good for your skin!

For a long time my mother refused to wear any make-up of any kind for any reason. Finally I convinced her to try the make-up I had been using for a couple of months. The make-up is called Bare Essentuals. She ended up loving it for three reasons:

#1:It’s so light you can’t feel it on.

#2:It doesn’t look like it’s on but, it makes your complexion look much better.

#3:It’s actually good for your skin, unlike other make-up.

I love it as well for the same reasons. I never like to much make-up on at once so Bare Essentuals is prefect for me. Now I have to say that the powder it’s made of does get a little messy while putting it on, but is fairly easy to clean up.
